Lipoedema: Sgeulachd Lorna
Working with Sorbier, John produced, directed and filmed an hour long documentary with his sister about lipoedema. It’s a personal story about living with a condition with very little medical recognition, the fight for treatment, and the scars left by society’s attitudes to people with larger bodies.
Dreach Ùr
John worked with the lovely people at Caledonia TV in Glasgow as either cameraman, director or producer (or all three) on a number of their series for BBC Alba. On this one, up-cycling programme Dreach Ùr, he was cameraman and director – with the help of a very talented team.
St Mungo’s Approval
A feature length documentary we made about the competition to find the best allotment in Glasgow. It’s much more than flowers and vegetables. It’s about the people who find space in the city’s hidden corners, make them their own, and flourish.
Bun Sgoil Ghàidhlig Phort Rìgh
A short video we were were commissioned to make for Comann nam Pàrant Port Rìgh on the benefits on bilingualism.
